Please join us on Friday, September 1st, 2023 for our 2nd Annual ‘Give Back’ Golf Event benefitting The Folds of Honor Foundation – a 501(c)(3) charitable organization with a mission to empower deserving military families with educational support and opportunities.
In 2022, our 1st Annual ‘Give Back’ Golf Event at Black Gold Golf Club was nothing short of spectacular, as our community created something truly special. The event was SOLD OUT almost immediately due to the unwavering support of the loyalty members and other guests that we see on a daily basis. By coming together as a community, we were able to raise over $40,000 for the Folds of Honor Foundation. For 2023, our goal is to continue to spread awareness about the mission, and ultimately generate $100,000 for the Folds of Honor Foundation.
The golf portion of the event is SOLD OUT, but there are still several ways to get involved:
SPONSORSHIPS – all sponsorship opportunities will provide valuable exposure for any organization, as we offer dozens of ways to market to a concentrated group of both core and recreational golfers, from the initial promotion/registration process to the awards ceremony. Your involvement will tremendously assist in making this year’s event a successful one, and ultimately contribute to The Folds of Honor Foundation’s primary mission. GRAND RAFFLE – in addition to offering dozens of premium raffle prizes that will be drawn for via traditional raffle ticket sales on the day of the event, we’re pleased to offer raffle tickets for our Grand Raffle Prize to both golfers and non-golfers alike – a Pedego Interceptor Electric Bike provided by Pedego Yorba Linda! Beginning on Thursday, July 20th at 3:00PM PST, Grand Raffle tickets may be purchased in our Online Store for $25.00 each, and there is no limit to the number of tickets that can be purchased. The drawing for the Grand Raffle Prize will occur at approximately 4:00pm PST on Friday, Sept. 1, 2023 at Black Gold Golf Club, and the winner is not required to attend the drawing.
SILENT AUCTION – whether you’re playing in the golf portion of the event or not, everyone is eligible to bid on and win any of our incredible Silent Auction items, including a One-Year Private Destination Golf Membership to the Dormie Network, which offers access to Six (6) Nationally-Ranked Golf Courses with no Green Fees or Cart Fees. OTHER DONATIONS – if you’d like to contribute to our fundraising goal for the Folds of Honor Foundation by simply making a monetary donation of any amount, please feel free to donate to the GoFundMe and/or Venmo accounts that were setup specifically for this event, or simply visit the Golf Shop at Black Gold Golf Club. Please note that we will provide charitable donation receipts upon request for all donations made.
